David Cameron's Conservatives are ahead in the vote count in Britain's most uncertain general election and could achieve a majority alongside the Libdems.
According to the BBC's exit polls, the prime minister's party won 316 seats against 239 for Miliband's Labor party.
The result of Nick Clegg's Libdems (only 10 seats) was disappointing, but the very alliance with Clegg could allow Cameron to win the majority in Parliament, even if only by one vote.
Strong affirmation by the Scottish National Party which would have won 58 seats and which will certainly re-launch the referendum on independence and will press Cameron, if he returns to lead the government in London, to leave Europe.
Today the eyes of the financial markets will be all on the pound.
