Youth guarantee, Poletti: "It will continue even without EU funds"

Youth guarantee, Poletti: "It will continue even without EU funds"

"We want to keep the Youth Guarantee program even if Europe won't keep the funding." This was announced by the Minister of Labour, Giuliano Poletti, during the presentation of the "Crescere in digitale" training platform.

“We are working – he added – for Europe to renew its commitment, but if it doesn't, we will continue anyway, rebuilding the relationship with the regions, but maintaining a program that is fundamental for us for young people. Youth Guarantee is an open construction site aimed at seizing new opportunities. It does not produce jobs but it creates employment opportunities and conditions for young people”.

Poletti then underlined the importance of the project: “It is essential that in this year we have implemented a systematically monitored project, with a report a week. Knowing that you have an obligation to report certainly helps to do better and it will be a method that we will replicate in other innovations and projects that we intend to propose in the future”.
