Galleria Corsini increasingly digital: here are the news

The National Galleries of Ancient Art inaugurate 2020 with two new services to facilitate the visit of the Corsini Gallery, in Rome.

From today, Saturday 11 January is available to all visitors free of charge digital guide on tablet, created in collaboration with the Glossa Consortium as part of the WeAct³ project – Technology for art, culture, tourism, territory promoted byCivita Association.

The other novelty is that the public of the Corsini Gallery can finally have a free Wifi connection in all the rooms of the museum.

The guide, in three languages (Italian, English and French) was specifically designed to solve one of the great problems of fruition of the Corsini Gallery: the identification of the works in the particular eighteenth-century layout wanted by Cardinal Neri Maria Corsini, with paintings arranged on several levels without the usual captions.

The guide, designed to be accessible to the widest possible audience, has a simple and intuitive interface that allows you to explore the history of the collections, the palace and the Corsini family and, at the same time, find your way around the rooms of the cardinal's apartment and identify the over three hundred paintings exposed.
