G8, priority is to promote growth and jobs

Employment and the crisis remain at the center of the agenda and strategies of the world's big eight. This is what the first draft of the G8 final communiqué reads. The document identifies three recipes for growth: support for demand, security of public finances and reforms.

G8, priority is to promote growth and jobs

"Our priority is to promote growth and employment particularly for young people and the long-term unemployed." This can be read in the draft of the final communiqué of the G8 held in Lough Erne, in Northern Ireland. “We will continue to support every global recovery effort by supporting demand, securing our finances and reforming our economies to ensure growth.”

Work and the crisis remain at the heart of the agenda of the Big Eight who, in the first draft of the final communiqué, speak of weak prospects even if with fewer risks than in the past and of how, in terms of budget consolidation, it is necessary to differentiate the pace " according to the different situations of national economies".
