“In order for states to be able to ask for less taxes, they must be able to collect taxes”. With these words, British Prime Minister David Cameron announced the G8 agreement on the fight against tax evasion and avoidance and on the transparency of profits and payments to the tax authorities of multinationals.
Cameron indicated that the basic agreed principle is that authorities around the world should be able to automatically share tax information. This means that automatic trading must become the global standard.
