Funds: funding close to 40 billion since the beginning of the year

After the sprint at the beginning of the year, the Italian industry of managed savings slowed down in April. According to the latest data from Assogestioni, last month the net deposits amounted to 9,029 billion euro, down from 10,1 billion in March. However, the balance remains positive and leads the total funding from the beginning of the year to almost 40 billion euros, against 29,9 billion in the first four months of 2016.

In detail, between March and April there was an increase in collective management (+7,1 billion from +5,2) and a downsizing of portfolio management (+1,9 billion from +4,9). So far, the total net inflows for 2017 are positive for 36,9 billion euros. Stable the managed assets, to 1.984 billion euros.

As regards the open funds, which constitute the most significant category in terms of deposits, the April balance is positive for 7,15 billion euro (5,1 billion in March) with +3,3 billion in bonds (+1,8 billion), +1,6 billion for flexible (+1,56) and +1,2 billion for balanced (+1,6). THE foreign law funds recorded net inflows of 6,3 billion in April compared to 784 million those of Italian law.
