Ft: Deutsche Bank favored by the ECB in stress tests

According to the Financial Times, Deutsche Bank would have received preferential treatment in the EBA-led stresses at the end of July – the accounting criterion adopted by the ECB would have allowed Deutsche Bank to include 4 billion for the sale of a stake in the Chinese Hua Xia , which had not yet gone through.

(Teleborsa) – Still hot rumors for Deutsche Bank, which remains at the center of the scene on the European markets, due to the difficulties associated with the maxi fine imposed by the USA in a very delicate phase for the German bank.

The Financial Times brought the spotlight back to Frankfurt, citing rumors relating to the excessive tolerance of the stress tests: according to the British financial newspaper Deutsche Bank, it would have received favorable treatment in the stress tests conducted by the EBA at the end of July.

Specifically, the accounting criterion adopted by the ECB would have allowed Deutsche Bank to include 4 billion for the sale of a stake in the Chinese Hua Xia, which had not yet been completed and is still in progress. A valid criterion if it had been universally applied, but which was not reflected in the other 50 institutes audited.

Aid for the German bank, which had been rejected in the tests conducted in the USA by the Fed.
