The positive results obtained by Bocconi and SDA Bocconi in the various Financial Times rankings during 2018, thanks to the masters and courses for managers, have allowed the university to consolidate its sixth place among the best European business schools. This is what emerges from the ranking published today by the British newspaper.
The Financial Times ranking is drawn up starting from the results obtained by European schools in four of the five rankings that the newspaper produces during the year relating to Masters in management, the MBA, the Executive MBA and management training in relation to custom and at the open.
As in 2017, the London Business School and HEC Paris remain in the top positions. ESCP Europe reached eleventh place. Meanwhile, Insead took a leap forward by downgrading IE Business School to XNUMXth place.
"These results confirm the important presence of Bocconi in the main international rankings, with the university permanently positioning itself in the top 10 at European level, regardless of the different focuses and the different methodologies adopted", comments the rector Gian Mario Verona. "In a European panorama of increasingly intense competition in the international education market, Bocconi and the SDA Bocconi School of Management show that they can successfully compete with the best competitors".
"The ranking reaffirms that Italian and international companies find in SDA Bocconi an ideal partner able to compete with global leaders in the training of the management class and young talents", adds the Dean of SDA Bocconi, Joseph Soda.
However, the ranking of Masters in Finance is not included in the calculation of this ranking of rankings, where Bocconi is placed 7th in Europe and 8th in the world.
