The privatization of the State Railways has been postponed once again, despite the fact that the Government had given indications that not all of the group led by Renato Mazzoncini would be brought to the market, but only the high-speed trains.

It was Mazzoncini himself who gave the news of the postponement yesterday, while denying that there were internal disagreements in the group that recently saw the turnaround at the helm of Trenitalia with the replacement of CEO Barbara Morgante, an iron Morettian, who he had made no secret of his preference for the partial privatization of all the railways rather than the high-speed train and which was replaced by Orazio Iacono.
