Fs: Moretti, by the end of the year we want to close the negotiations with Terna

The Fs want to close the negotiations with Terna for the sale of the electricity grid owned by the railway company by the end of the year. This is what Mauro Moretti, managing director of FS, underlined on the sidelines of the 'Frecciarossa delle startup' event. “There is no revolution in the discussion that I hope can be closed within the year. Negotiations are underway not only with Terna but also with the Energy Authority which is actually the driver of this operation. All we do is return a part of the national electricity transmission grid, just as Enel did some time ago”.

As for the six-monthly report of FS, arriving in the next few days, the CEO explained that shortly "the data will be presented, you will see that it will be good news and that we will close in profit". Moretti also addressed the issue of the possible sale of Ansaldo Breda abroad which “would cause Italy to lose an important industrial chain and a company with an enormous portfolio. In other countries, the local economy is benefited”.
