Tuesday 5 December, in the Auditorium hall of the FS Italiane Group Headquarters, Charlotte Ventura, Director of Brand Strategy and Central Communications e Marco Lucchini, Secretary General of the Banco Alimentare Foundation, will present the details of the social initiative carried out in collaboration with Nestle Perugina.

"The social fundraising initiative that the FS Group has decided to support this year in favor of the non-profit Banco Alimentare Foundation – underlines Carlotta Ventura – it is not a simple collection of money, but an important stage in the path of corporate social responsibility that FS Italiane has been embarking on for some time. We are a large Group and we want to be close to people who experience severe social hardship. We are proud to generate the common good by responsibly combining the world of business with that of solidarity and the circular economy".

"Having been chosen by the FS Group – declares Marco Lucchini, – honors us, because their solidarity campaigns are a concrete example of CSR and because we will have the opportunity to bring our message, traveling along the peninsula. We feel invested with great responsibility because the initiative involves hundreds of our volunteers but also many employees of the FS Italiane Group who will do their utmost to support Banco Alimentare. We are certain that travelers will be available and generous because helping Banco Alimentare means supporting more than associations that welcome over 1 million poor people in the area, over half of whom are Italian and 135 minors".

*3 euro is equivalent to the cost incurred by Banco Alimentare for the recovery and distribution of 21 kg of food equal to 42 meals (1 equivalent meal corresponds to 500 g of food according to the estimate adopted by the Fédération Européenne des Banques Alimentaires).
