Il FS Group was prize in Milan during Be the Hope, the annual gala of the non-profit organization RFK Human Rights Italia, with the Robert F. Kennedy Human Rights Italy Award 2023.
This recognition is awarded every year to people, institutions and organizations who are particularly distinguished in the defense of human rights, following the moral legacy of Senator Robert F. Kennedy.
The award was received by Adriano Mureddu, Chief Human Resources Officer of the FS Group. Also participating in the evening was the Senator's daughter and Honorary President of RFK Italia, Kerry Kennedy.
FS project “I redeem myself for the future” awarded
FS was awarded for “I redeem myself for the future” project which aims to promote the education, orientation and professional training of prisoners. The project is the result of a agreement stipulated between the FS Group and the Ministry of Justice.
The agreement allowed thehiring of five prisoners of the Milan Opera Prison by Trenitalia and the Italian Railway Network, through fixed-term contracts.

To date, already the first five prisoners of the Milan Opera Prison they work within our offices and stations: the objective is to involve an ever-increasing number of penitentiaries" was the thought of the CEO of the FS Group Luigi Ferraris, who spoke during the evening with a video message.
