Fs, by 2015 20 minutes less to go from Rome to Milan

Three hours are too many to go by train from Rome to Milan: by 2015, 140 minutes will be enough. This is the latest challenge launched by Mario Moretti, CEO of Ferrovie dello Stato, who this morning presented the company's new business plan. The real trump card will be a new train capable of reaching speeds of 360 km/h. Furthermore, the trains will gain ten minutes thanks to the "completion of the underpass of the Bologna node in 2012". Another ten minutes will be saved thanks to the same construction in the Florence area, which will be completed by 2015. Other improvements to the network are also planned.
