Fs, direct trains Rome-French Riviera: when they leave

The service will be operational starting from Friday 4th July until Saturday 30th August 2025, with departure every Friday from the station Rome Termini and arrive in Marseille on Saturday. The return trip is scheduled to depart from Marseille on Saturday and arrive in Rome on Sunday morning.

Even travellers departing from Genoa – where connections with trains arriving from Milan are planned – will be able to reach France without making changes. On board there will be a restaurant service and spacious sleeping compartments to offer tourists a smooth and comfortable travel experience.

During the night route it will be possible to travel in couchettes or sleeping cars, while from Genoa, the train will change configuration, assuming a daytime layout with lounges and first and second class seats, to allow passengers to enjoy the scenery along the Riviera.

As on all the Express trains of Fs Treni Turistici Italiani, it will be possible to sit in the restaurant carriage to enjoy dinner or breakfast thanks to a bar service that is always open. Tickets will be available starting from 24st May on the website www.fstrenituristici.it and through all Trenitalia sales channels, including station ticket offices, self-service machines and travel agencies.
