From the 110% Ecobonus to cash: the 7 new features from 1st July

Changes coming. Important come into effect from 1 July news that will tangibly affect the daily life of all of us. Some of these measures are provided for in the relaunch decree launched by the Government to support the economy grappling with the crisis triggered by the Covid-19 emergency, others have been established previously. 

From the ceiling to cash to the 110% Ecobonus, from the holiday bonus to the paycheck bonus, from the POS to the bills, let's see one by one the news in force from 1 July.

BILLS

Starting from 1 July, bills will undergo changes: those for gas will drop by 6,7%, while those for electricity will rise by 3,3% due to the "costs for operating the system". Second the data provided by Arera, the Regulatory Authority for Energy, Networks and the Environment, the changes will result in a gross saving of 212 euros for a family compared to last year.

CASH

From 1 July, the limit on cash payments drops from 3.000 to 2.000 euros. The new rules are foreseen by decree n.124/2019 linked to last year's Budget Maneuver. 

It will be possible to pay in cash only up to 1.999 euros, from 2.000 onwards it will be mandatory to use credit cards, bank transfers, checks and traceable payment instruments in general. The new limits also apply to borrowers, loans, donations and intra-family money transfers. However, they do not apply to deposits and withdrawals and to cash payments in installments. Anyone who does not respect the rules will face fines of between 2 and 50 euros (for payments within 250 euros) and from 15 to 250 euros (for higher amounts).

HOLIDAY BONUS

From 1 July you can request the Holiday Bonus. Families made up of more than two people will be able to receive 500 euros, those made up of two people will have 300 euros, for single people the amount available is 150 euros. 80% of the bonus will come in the form of a discount at the time of payment, while the remaining 20% ​​can be recovered as a deduction in next year's tax return. 

The holiday bonus can be requested from 1 July and until 31 December 2020 through a special app, call me, linked to the PagoPa platform. To do this you need to have a digital identity Speed o Cie and an updated Isee. Once activated, the Bonus will be uploaded to the user's profile and a QR Code will be associated with it to be shown to the hotelier to take advantage of the incentive.

PAY BONUS

From 1 July, 16 million employees will be able to count on a structural measure which, within 28 euros, will guarantee more money in the paycheck, beyond 28 and within 40 it will instead turn into a decreasing tax deduction. Overall, the benefits will range from 192 euros to 1.200 euros per year.

In detail, those who already receive the 80 euro bonus will receive an extra 20 euro in their next paycheck. Those who instead have an annual income between 26,600 and 28 thousand euros will be able to count on an increase of 100 euros per month. Above 28 euros of gross income, the bonus transforms into a progressive tax deduction that starts from 100 euros per month and decreases to a value of 80 euros for incomes of 35 euros. From 35 thousand euros to 40 thousand euros gross, the tax deduction continues to decrease until it is zeroed.

ECOBONUS 110%

From 1 July to 31 December 2021 it will be possible to take advantage of the maxi incentive at 110% valid on construction works that increase the energy efficiency of buildings and reduce the seismic risk (the so-called sismabonus). The bonus can be used if at least one of the three works identified as "driving" is carried out: thermal insulation works on opaque surfaces, replacement of existing winter air conditioning systems with centralized condensing, heat pump or microgeneration systems in the common areas of the buildings, replacement of winter air conditioning systems with microgeneration or heat pump systems for heating, cooling or domestic hot water supply in single-family houses. 

Interventions on second homes and those related to main works are also facilitated, such as the installation of photovoltaic panels or recharging columns for electric cars. We remind you that to know the further news of the measures it will be necessary to wait for Parliament's ok to the relaunch decree. The vote is expected by 18 July.

FAMILY ALLOWS

Private sector employees can electronically submit to INPS the applications useful for obtaining family allowances valid from 1 July to 30 June 2021. To find out the amount, simply consult the updated table published on the portal of the National Institute of Social Security. 

POS BONUS

From 30st July, professionals and businesses are entitled to a tax credit equal to 2020% of expenses related to the use of the Pos. Based on the 157 Tax Decree (law 2019/XNUMX), to encourage the use of electronic money, the The state reimburses one third of bank commissions and fixed costs incurred by those who accept debit and credit cards.
