You don't need to be a digital marketing expert to earn money with Facebook, Twitter or Instagram: even using social networks like every day can make a profit. This is the idea from which three guys from the province of Varese started, who last year gave life to "Friendz”, a startup that recently received a 300 thousand euro loan from Triboo.

How it works. The mechanism is simple. You start by downloading the application (free for Android and iOS) and signing up through your Facebook profile. At that point we are faced with a series of marketing campaigns (some proposed by companies, others unrelated to a specific brand) which ask Frienz users for specific actions (for example, take a photo following a particular theme, like or share a post), which will then be shared on their social profiles. These contributions will then be remunerated through credits that can be spent through e-commerce coupons (for example, Amazon, Feltrinelli, Kiko, Ryanair, TicketOne, GameStop, Zara and many others).

History. Friendz was born in the spring of 2015, in a small town in the province of Varese, from the idea of ​​three young people: Alessandro Cadoni, Daniele Scaglia and Cecilia Nostro. In a few months of development, the three founders win the Web Marketing Festival 2015 and receive an initial loan of 60 thousand euros. Andrea Mascheroni also joins the team, and after only six months of life the four young people (25 years on average) knock on the doors of big brands, coming into contact with the marketing offices, who decide to try the system and start buying the first advertising campaigns.

In the meantime it is born Home-Friendz, the home-office of this young company, which also brings a dose of creativity into the company processes: the team lived and worked together for months, in the same place and the personnel selection processes were based on totally non- - conventional (for example, escape rooms, fun challenges, games).

"The essential component of our company lies in creativity - explain Alessandro and Cecilia -, in the ability to bring innovation within digital marketing and to do this we need a team capable of thinking and acting creatively and not standard. Precisely for this reason our selections are so particular and fun and help us identify the best people for our reality".

Today Friendz employs 14 young people and collaborates with over 20 major brands (including Timex and Sector), managing over 100 advertising campaigns.
