Cairo wins one of the lots in the frequency auction, the former beauty contest. This was announced by the Ministry of Economic Development, specifying that the lot of L3 frequencies went to Cairo Network, since the company presented a valid offer for the amount of 31.626.000 euros.
The public session was held today for the opening of the offers in the context of the TV frequency tender and Cairo, in fact, was the only company to participate.
Once the procedures have been completed, the Directorate General for Electronic Broadcasting and Postal Communications Services will assign the provision for the rights to use the frequencies.
