The Bank of France announced today that it has slightly revised upwards its estimates for the growth of the French economy in the second quarter of the year, bringing them to +0,2%. The previous forecast, dating back to last month, credited the French GDP with a drop of 0,1%.
If this estimate were confirmed, the French economy would emerge from the recession it officially entered in the first quarter of 2013, which ended with a 0,2% drop.
