Moody's doesn't think like Standard & Poor's. The rating agency, contrary to what was decided by S&P colleagues last Friday, has confirmed the triple A of France. In the meantime, however, beyond the Alps they still wonder on the consequences of downgrading.
Yesterday, in the first official release two days after the downgrade of France by Standard & Poor's, French President Nicolas Sarkozy he had said in a speech in Amboise: “I will speak to the French at the end of the month, I will tell them what important decisions need to be made without wasting time. I will tell them that the crisis can be overcomeas long as we have the collective will and courage to reform our country."
