Franchetti, revenues +55,2% in the first half of 2023: growth continues

Franchetti Spa, a Vicenza-based company that develops software for infrastructure monitoring, closed the first half of the year with increasing revenues by 55,2%, to 2,3 million euros compared to almost one and a half million euros in the first half of 2022.Ebitda it stands at 475 thousand euros with an increase of 156,3% compared to the previous year. L'EBIT is equal to 333.359 euros, up by 97,5%.

The growth in the period is mainly due to the constant increase in demand for engineering services, especially for the predictive maintenance of large infrastructures in Italy and abroad, together with the growing presence in the Brazilian market (one of the three markets in which the company operates ).

THENet income (excluding the share of third parties) rose to 171 thousand euros, compared to the 149 thousand euros accounted for in the first half of 2022.net financial debt is equal to approximately 315 thousand euros.

Order backlog of 24 million

The Board of Directors has updated thethe order book of the group, which has visibility until 2025 and beyondamounts to Euro 24,2 million. Furthermore, the Group continues to record a positive trend in the acquisition of new contracts, mainly for inspections and maintenance designs of road and railway bridges, after the period ending 30 June 2023.

Where the company operates

Franchetti SpA operates mainly in three markets: Italian, Brazilian and North American. Although Italy is the main reference market, the Group has ambitious expansion plans for its subsidiaries in Brazil and the United States, in response to the huge investments planned in infrastructure in those countries. In Brazil, the Group also aims to grow in railway concessions.

The Group's growth is mainly linked to the maintenance of large road infrastructures, both in Italy and abroad, thanks to public investments such as the PNRR in Italy and the PAC in Brazil. The Group has specific know-how that offers key analysis and predictive maintenance services.
