Un exhibition project to narrate the extraordinary career of the Trentino runner Francesco Moser, on the occasion of his seventieth birthday. The photographs that tell the most significant moments of his sporting career are exhibited.
Remo Mosna is a photographer and a journalist. Born in Aldeno (Tn) in 1946, collaborates with various newspapers including La Gazzetta dello Sport and Adige. After practicing cycling as a young man since 1969 he specializes in sports photo journalism and follows the major international cycling events: the Giro d'Italia, the Tour de France, the World Championships and the Great Classics. In addition to cycling at all levels, from youth championships to professionalism, he documents the disciplines of athletics, skiing and tambourine. Following closely the splendid career of Francesco Moser, his photographs have been published in numerous books on the passion for cycling and the
races, including Francesco Moser The Story of a Champion, Moser's Pink Days (1984), Giro d'Italia (2010), Francesco Moser and fifty years of cycling (2001), 100 years cycling and the story continues (2012) , The land of gold (2015), the Legendary Dolomites (2020) and others.
He has curated several group and personal exhibitions. The most recent, dedicated to the Giro d'Italia, is Photographic overviews of the 50 years of the Giro d'Italia (2021). He passed on his passion for photography to his son Daniele and niece Natascia.
The exhibition is promoted by the Val di Sole tourism company in collaboration with the Castello del Buonconsiglio, provincial monuments and collections and the Municipality of Caldes. The organization is by the Suasez company.
