The French Prime Minister, Francois Bayrou, openly seeks the consensus or, at least, the non-distrust of the socialists in Parliament to escape the conditioning of the far right The Pen. This is what emerged from the speech to the National Assembly by the Prime Minister who brought up several issues that are popular with the socialists and above all one: the possibility of reviewing the pension reform. In this regard, Bayrou announced that he wants to organize a conclave of the social partners to find improvements to the pension reform without dismantling it as the streets demanded last year. The conclave will have a fixed time and will take place in complete transparency.
The Prime Minister does not rule out openings on the fiscal and labor policy fronts, which are equally dear to the Socialists.
