The furniture sale of the Four Seasons Hotel George V in Paris will open the season 22/23. This event will be an opportunity to rediscover the universe of this legendary hotel and to take possession of these rooms which wonderfully illustrate the French art of living. The arrangement of this Art Deco style building was entrusted to the famous architect and interior designer Pierre Yves Rochon. Anxious to reflect the spirit of la française by striking a subtle balance between 18th century influences and the Empire style, he brought together all the furniture, paintings, artwork and fabrics that adorn the palace.

An identity that the architect Pierre-Yves Rochon

Pierre-Yves Rochon was responsible for the first renovation of the hotel in 1997, has always maintained since then. Beyond the revisited Louis XVI-style desks estimated at €100-200, leather armchairs in the English Bar estimated at €800-1.000 but also pairs of lamps in neoclassical style valued at €400-600, the opulence of the hotel includes ornamental elements in Chinese style: celadon porcelain vases estimated at €100 – 150 and lacquer screens estimated at €1.000 – 2.000 adorning the diverse suite. In the sale, sumptuous Regency armchairs valued at €300 – 500, a Louis XVI style Bergere estimated at €300 – €500 or two magnificent tables, an Art Deco style round estimated at €1.000 – 2.000, a neoclassical rectangular from 400 – €600 will be offered. The session will also include an important Louis XVI style carpet in the Savonnerie taste, which adorns the famous Galerie, 18 meters long, also estimated at €6.000 – 8.000 only magnificent yellow damask curtains on gold velvet reverse estimated at €300 – 500 .

Floral arrangements, another signature of the famous Jeff Leatham, subtly thought out with the interiors designed by Pierre-Yves Rochon.
