Photovoltaic on the balcony of the house? 90 euros less in the bill

A technology that makes it possible to produce renewable energy even in the city and makes consumption in homes more sustainable. It is Enel X Sun Plug&Play, the 0,34 kW photovoltaic system entirely designed by Enel X. It can be easily installed on a balcony or terrace, it is suitable for both metal railings and masonry parapets and, through an electric plug with a dedicated socket, it allows you to contribute the energy produced by the sun to that consumed to power appliances and other appliances in the house . The solution, tested in the wind tunnel, is resistant to winds of 130 km/h, has a 10-year guarantee and can be purchased for 249,50 euros instead of 599 euros, thanks to the launch promo and tax incentives with the sale credit at 50%.

“If the concepts of sustainability and economic convenience seemed irreconcilable, with Enel X Sun Plug&Play we demonstrate that it is possible to develop innovative solutions accessible to all – said Andrea Scognamiglio, Enel X Global Head of e-Home. “Thanks to Enel X Sun Plug&Play every family will finally be able to benefit from the advantages of a photovoltaic system, such as efficiency of consumption and cost savings in bills, without the need for a proprietary roof. With this solution, which can be easily installed on your home balcony, renewable energy becomes accessible and lands in the city. A further demonstration of Enel X's commitment to proposing cutting-edge technological solutions that allow people to be protagonists of the energy transition”.

With Enel X Sun Plug&Play it is possible to obtain savings on bills of up to 90 euros a year and contribute to the pursuit of energy efficiency objectives, while at the same time supporting small national companies. In fact, the solution represents a further contribution to the important results already achieved in this sense by the e-Home division of Enel X. In 2020, around 25 products were installed in Italian homes, including condensing boilers, air conditioners and photovoltaic systems with storage system, avoiding the emission of around 10 tonnes of CO2 into the atmosphere a year and ensuring around 300 hours of work for the technicians of companies that collaborate with Enel X. An extraordinary result achieved also thanks to solutions such as Homix, the Smart Home system with integrated Alexa, which allows the management of heating, cooling, security and lighting, and like the home services already chosen by around 200 customers.
