La Graphometric Biometric Signature is a technology that allows an Advanced Electronic Signature to be affixed to electronic documents, guaranteeing compliance with the technical rules (in the process of being issued) provided by theNational body for the digitization of the Public Administration (DigitPA, former CNIPA). Betting on this innovation, which goes beyond the dematerialisation of paper documents thanks to its "paperless" nature, is the certified email division of Aruba, the first provider in Italy by number of hosting and registered domains.
The system works through the recognition of graphometric parameters such as speed, pressure, rhythm, acceleration and movement of the person who places the signature on the digital medium. However, it is not a hardware + software kit because the Aruba PEC solution is completely independent from the “signature pad” or of the device chosen for the signature. They range from smartphones, to tablet PCs, to tools designed ad hoc for pointing and recognizing freehand paths.
Le safety features of the biometric signature, which must necessarily meet the technical rules issued by DigitPA, allow you to have a unique correspondence of the signature data with the signatory himself, the exclusive control of the signature generation system, the possibility of verifying that the object of the subscription has not undergone changes after the affixing of the signature, the possibility for the signatory to obtain evidence of what has been signed.
