Unveiled today, on the Circuit de Catalunya in Montmelò, where the second winter tests were taking place, the new Mercedes single-seater, the last of the great teams that has not yet presented its car: the W03. There was great secrecy about it, so much so that only obscured images circulated of the machine.
A lift the veils on the W03 were the two drivers Nico Rosberg and Michael Schumacher. The single-seater does not present any particular innovations, except for the stepped nose, typical of this season's cars, despite which, however, the car maintains a certain elegance.
The former Ferrari Ross Brawn, current sporting director of Mercedes, said he was proud of the W03, and optimistic regarding the results that the car (which will already be tested on the Catalan circuit) could obtain, after the disappointing results of last season.
