Training: the Intesa Sanpaolo Business Academy is born

Intesa Sanpaolo Formazione, the training company of Intesa Sanpaolo, launches the Academy for Business, the program created to offer Italian companies advanced training courses to update the skills required by innovative organizational and economic models. The first initiative is the Executive Master in Business Administration - EMBA advanced training course created by Intesa Sanpaolo, Intesa Sanpaolo Formazione and Intesa Sanpaolo Innovation Center. Carried out by a qualified team of university professors and experts from all over Italy, it is intended for businesses in Campania, Basilicata, Calabria and Puglia.

EMBA is aimed at entrepreneurs and managers with consolidated professional experience and offers a distance learning training course of 300 hours in six months, from 19 November 2020 to 9 April 2021. The course was designed on the basis of the specific needs expressed by companies in the South which must innovate to consolidate and increase the competitive advantage or reposition themselves in completely transformed market scenarios, also due to the pandemic.

For this reason, training is one of the levers with which to support its growth in a scenario completely transformed by the current complex situation. Our goal is to offer them support starting from the Group's skills in the field of training, management and, with our Innovation Center, innovation and the circular economy, new frontiers of competitiveness. This course was designed on the specific needs of companies in the South, as they are captured by the Bank in its daily support activity for SMEs carried out by the Southern Regional Management. Others will follow in the rest of the country”.

The EMBA proposes 14 training modules in two phases.

The first phase includes General Management content including competitor analysis, marketing, sales, corporate finance, budgeting and management control, negotiation.

The second phase provides for an articulation in four modules dedicated to Change and Innovation Management, specialized and advanced topics such as ESG and open innovation circular economy, digital transformation.

In addition, face-to-face activities are planned, at institutional and/or Intesa Sanpaolo offices, during which participants will be able to explore some relevant topics and meet with managers and entrepreneurs. More information and registration on the site.

In the coming months, other Intesa Sanpaolo Formazione initiatives will start in collaboration with qualified partners dedicated to other Italian regions, always with the aim of understanding the specific needs of the various territories and offering companies the opportunity to improve the quality of human capital, true competitiveness engine. Intesa Sanpaolo Formazione has involved over 18 people and more than 4 companies in its training activities with the provision of over 500 training hours.
