Pitchforks, second day of clashes. Tomorrow meeting with Berlusconi

"If the politicians do not go home and tomorrow the trust in the Letta government is voted, there will be a striking non-violent action in Rome and perhaps in other cities: we will not give up": says one of the coordinators of the December 9 movement, Danilo Calvani, who leads the protest of the Pitchforks movement - Second day of hard clashes in many cities.

“Today we will decide how to carry out our mobilization. If the politicians do not go home and trust in the Letta government is voted tomorrow, there will be a striking non-violent action in Rome and perhaps in other cities: we will not give up”. To say it is one of the coordinators of the December 9 movement, Danilo Calvani, who leads the protest of the Pitchforks movement. The protest continues throughout Italy and a summit is underway at the Viminale between the Minister of the Interior, Angelino Alfano, and the forces of order, to take stock of the demonstrations underway in many cities.  

Meanwhile, President Silvio Berlusconi, following the request for a meeting by the hauliers, will see one of their delegations tomorrow at 17 pm at the Forza Italia headquarters in Piazza San Lorenzo in Lucina in Rome. He makes it known in a press release.
