She has an estimated assets of 25,2 billion dollars and is the first Italian in the Forbes ranking of the richest people in the world. It is Maria Franca Fissolo, widow of Michele Ferrero, who is positioned in 29th place in the ranking of the world's super rich, tied with George Soros. Taking into consideration only the fairer sex, Fissolo is the fourth richest woman in the world.

Behind her, 50th place in the global ranking, is Leonardo Del Vecchio, number one at Luxottica with an estimated fortune of no less than 17,9 million dollars.

Followed (80th place in the Forbes Top 100) by Stefano Pessina, industrialist in the pharmaceutical branch with 13,9 billion. At the national level, the bronze medal goes to another woman, Massimiliana Landini Aleotti, leader of the Menarini group, with assets estimated at 9,5 billion dollars. Silvio Berlusconi managed to re-enter the Top 200, climbing to 199th place from 203rd last year, with $7 billion, closely followed by Giorgio Armani with $6,9 billion.
