The parties must promptly inform the Authority of the implementation of the commitments undertaken".

In recent days, the CEO of Unicredit, Federico Ghizzoni, had explained the commitments undertaken by the institution before the Authority: "When Mediobanca or Generali is discussed on the Fondiaria board of directors, our directors, who are two independent and one ours, are not present at the discussion". On the part of Fondiaria, however, Ghizzoni had explained that the commitments provide for the sale of the shareholding of the Ligresti company in Generali.
