Fund for technical professions for infrastructure

The social security funds and the national councils of technical professions (over 500 professionals) have created a new fund for the enhancement and recovery of public and private works to be recovered and valorised. In this initial phase, the Fund will amount to 100 million Euros. The objective is to intervene in the public works sector and to valorise the many abandoned properties with innovative methodologies both from a planning and a financial point of view. The technical professionals who include engineers, architects, surveyors, industrial experts, agronomists, chemists, geologists, food technologists want with this initiative to contribute on the one hand to the rebirth of the country in harmony with the new Monti government which was born today, and on the other stimulate innovation and change in the professionals of these sectors themselves.

The professionals thus demonstrate that they are in tune with the needs of the country and with the need to change mentality compared to the past. Today it is no longer possible to think of public works financed entirely by the state, but it is necessary to create works that are appreciated by users and therefore can be financially repaid. It is also a cultural leap that can contribute to that overall change that is certainly necessary to resume a development path abandoned for at least 15 years.
