Fondo Cometa: 80% of the votes for the Fim, Fiom, Uilm lists

The renewal phase of the Assembly of Delegates concluded – 51.778 registered workers voted, 79,8% of the consensus for the FIM-FIOM-UILM list.

Yesterday 15 December 2017 ended the electoral phase for the renewal of the assembly of delegates of Cometa, a body that will remain in office for the three-year period 2018-2020. As regards the representatives of the registered workers, the participation in the vote was not as high as hoped, the voters were 51.778 out of 393.902 entitled to vote.

53 collection points have been set up in the companies to collect the envelopes with the ballot papers, while the Fim-Cisl has directly organized over 130 information points in important industrial realities to encourage worker participation. The Fim-Fiom-Uilm list received 41.171 votes equal to 79,84%, the Fismic list 3.886 votes, the Ugl list 6.508 votes. The composition of the Cometa Assembly for the workers' part, which sees a total of 45 members, will therefore be as follows: Fim-Fiom-Uilm 37 delegates (of which 13 Fim delegates, 16 Fiom, 8 Uilm), 5 Ugl delegates, 3 Fismic delegates .

The Fim delegates elected to represent the workers are: Michel Marchetti, worker at Tenaris Dalmine in Bergamo, Fabio Quadrelli, employee at the Leonardo Helicopters division in Varese, Rosanna Poloni, worker at Electrolux Italia SPA in Treviso, Fabrizio Mauro, worker at Eaton Srl in Turin, Patrizio Marzola, worker at Berco Spa in Ferrara, Giuseppe De Francesco, employee at Hitachi Rail Italy Spa in Naples, Gianluca Romanazzo, worker at Ilva in Taranto, Marta De Lucchi, employee at Nuovo Pignone Spa in Florence, Danilo De Santis, employee of Leonardo Company Spa of Rome, Michele Gardenal, employee of Fincantieri Spa of Gorizia, Stefano Balestra, worker of Whirlpool Emea Spa of Ancona, Antonio Tracchia, worker of Sevel Spa of Chieti, Gabriele D'Ignazi, worker of Thyssenkrupp Acciai Speciali Terni Spa of Terni.

The delegates on the list among the first not elected, who will therefore take over in the event of replacements, are: Nicola Appice, worker at Ilva Spa in Genoa, Nicola Grieco, worker at FCA Melfi in Potenza, Nicola Cotelli, worker at Beretta Pietro Spa in Brescia , Adriano Gosparini, worker of Nuovo Pignone Srl of Sondrio, Roberto Guerzoni, employee of CRF Soc.
