Fondo Atlante, the list of subscribers

Atlas is ready to go: yesterday Quaestio Capital Management, the asset management company delegated to manage the fund which aims to support the capital increases requested of Italian banks and to lend a hand in the management of institutions' non-performing loans, announced that it managed to reach the threshold in just a few days minimum of formal commitments envisaged by the Atlante regulation: 4 billion euro.

But what have been the accessions so far? They came from 44 Italian and foreign institutions, exceeding a total of 4 billion. It goes by Intesa Sanpaolo and Unicredit who have given their willingness to disburse new finance of up to one billion euro each. Passing through Vita Post (240 million) e Ubi which will make 200 million available, Generali will give 150 million, while the Banca Popolare dell'Emilia Romagna will participate with 100 million as well as Allianz Italy, Cariplo Foundation and Compagnia di Sanpaolo.

Creval was then added, which will inject 60 million, in addition to Mps, Banco Popolare, Mediolanum, Fondazione Crt and Popolare di Sondrio, which will contribute 50 million each, while Cattolica and Fondazione Cariparo will provide 40 million, Reale Mutua will give 30 and Carige another 20 million.

In its communication to the market, Quaestio also provided some clarifications regarding the intervention of the fund in the capital increase of People's Bank of Vicenza, the first to leave. His intervention, at a price of 10 cents, will also be valid in the event that the Veneto institute is not actually able to land in Piazza Affari (another article on the page). But in any case, membership is not yet definitively closed. "The Fund will be able to accept further subscription commitments up to and including 28 April", clarified yesterday by Quaestio Capital Management sgr, and there are also those who are working on a second phase of subscriptions.
