Funds: negative October net inflows of 1,9 billion euro

In September, inflows had been positive for 530 million euros – Assets in the asset management sector rose by 189 billion, approaching the record level of 1.200 billion euros – New drop in money market funds, -1,3 billion euros in October.

The month of October, for the asset management sector, ends with one negative net inflows of 1,9 billion euro, after the positive figure of September (+530 million), but with assets that stand out to 1.182 billion, approaching the record level of 1.200 billion euro. Since the beginning of the year, funding has been negative by 7,8 billion. According to Assogestioni, the increase in assets (+189 billion compared to September) is largely due to the effects of the reorganization of the asset management companies of the Generali group.

Bond funds, after +1,8 billion in September, recorded net flows of 1,1 billion, bringing the total since the beginning of the year to +18,3 billion. The flexibles, after the growth of 1,29 billion in September, stopped at +278 million euros (-315 million in the year), while the balanced ones are back in positive, to +60 million from -41 in September. However, the negative trend of equity funds continues, -446 million after -378 in the previous month (-6,3 billion in the year) and money market funds. -1,3 billion in October after -1,12 billion in September, for a negative total of 2012 billion euros in 9,73.
