Pension funds and Irap, changes to the Stability Law are coming. A return of the rate from 3,9% to 3,5% is expected for Irap subjects without employees (such as the self-employed). It is one of the innovations that should be introduced in the Stability Bill with amendments reformulated by the rapporteur, Giorgio Santini (Pd), according to what was learned at the end of a majority meeting.
Other changes concern pension funds and privatized funds: the rate on returns will be respectively 12,5% (instead of 20%) for pension funds and 20% (and not 26%) for funds, in both cases for the share of medium and long-term investments made in the economy.
