Funds: funding slows down in the second quarter

In second quarter of 2021, the Italian industry of managed savings achieved positive net inflows for 21,5 billion euros, a slowdown compared to 29,9 billion in the January-March period. This is what emerges from the quarterly map of Assogestioni.

Year to date the subscription figure reached 51,3 billion, compared with outflows of 736 million in the same period last year.

In late June the heritage managed scored the new historical high, going beyond 2.500 billion, to 2.519 (against 2.469 last March and 2.265 in June 2020).

Going back to the second quarter collection, the managements collective recorded inflows of 18,3 billion (from 19,9 in the first quarter), concentrated in funds open (17,1 billion).

In detail, they guide the equity (to 8,4 billion, from 13 in the first quarter), followed by balanced (7,7 billion from 4,3) and from bonds (to 3 billion, from 2,8).

Negative result for i flexible (-918 million from -2,75 billion), the hedge (-133 from -110) ei monetary (-969 million from +1,4 billion).

Finally, between April and June le portfolio management recorded positive net flows of 3,16 billion (a sharp drop from 9,9 in the first quarter), while the management of insurance products they recorded outflows of 938 million.
