The Generali group conquers the record for net inflows in mutual funds in Europe. In the first quarter of 2016, the group recorded flows of 6,74 billion euros.

The Italian company, which operates in asset management under the Generali Investments brand, has even surpassed the US giant Blackrock, which achieved European funding of 6,24 billion euro. Followed by the English Legal & General which obtained 5,64 billion. It should be emphasized that in the first three months of the current year, the total net inflow of funds in the European market was negative by 34,9 billion euro.

“It's a bit surprising to see Generali lead the ranking of best-selling managers for the quarter ahead of Blackrock, Europe's largest asset manager,” Thomson Reuters Lipper said in its quarterly European Fund Market report.

In total, only 19 management companies collected more than 1 billion in the quarter and the total flows of these operators were 49,2 billion.
