The new year could bring great news to the heads of the two major Turin banking foundations: the Compagnia San Paolo and the Crt Foundation. Rumors have been circulating in the city for days, also reported yesterday by Il Sole 24 Ore, of a bipartisan agreement between the mayor of Turin Piero Fassino (Pd) and the governor of the Piedmont Region Roberto Cota (Lega) for a change at the head of the two foundations. The former mayor Sergio Chiamparino (Pd) would be appointed to the chairmanship of the Company, taking the place of the lawyer Angelo Benessia, while the former governor of the Region Enzo Ghigo (PDL) in place of the jurist Andrea Comba.
