The new Deputation General of the Monte dei Paschi di Siena Foundation is verifying the eligibility of all its members in accordance with the statute. The General Deputation then “decided to deepen its knowledge of the situation of the Foundation itself, through the acquisition of appropriate documentation. This in order to then be able to decide and identify, in full autonomy and with full awareness - as stated in a press release - the characteristics that will have to distinguish the new President and the members of the Administrative Deputation and the Board of Auditors.
12 out of 14 members were present at the meeting (Paolucci absent, Alpi connected by conference call). Eleven votes would have been required for the appointment of the Deputazione Amministratrice and that of the president, as established by the statute.
