Golinelli Foundation has promoted, together with other partners, the second edition of the competition “Welfare, what an enterprise!”, aimed at young social startups called to present innovative projects dedicated to community welfare and capable of promoting social cohesion, development and networking. Golinelli Foundation awarded the Bolognese startup Local to You. Born in 2016, operating in the Bologna area, sells organic products online with attention to social issues through a network of member cooperatives that engage people with frailties and farms that cultivate organic farming.
“Fondazione Golinelli has been involved in education, training and culture for 30 years. With Opificio Golinelli it reaches 150.000 visitors every year, especially young people and teachers. In October 2017, the Golinelli Arts and Sciences Center opened, closely linked to the multi-year development plan, Opus 2065, to support the younger generations in their growth path, with the idea that education is the engine of economic and social development; soon the spaces of the Opificio will be further expanded, which will host the nascent Golinelli Incubator.
