Claudio Burlando, president of the Liguria region, has urgently convened a meeting for tomorrow between all the bodies that appoint the directors of the Carige Foundation. The agenda concerns the Repetto case.
After the move of 17 councilors out of 28 - the vast majority - who requested the convening of a council on the dismissal of president Flavio Repetto, the governor sent a letter to the top management of the various bodies involved in the governance of the Foundation to discuss the situation and possibly seek a common position given the risk of a receivership of the bank.
The invitation is addressed to the Archbishop of Genoa Cardinal Angelo Bagnasco, to the Bishop of Albenga Monsignor Mario Olivieri, to the Bishop of Ventimiglia Monsignor Alberto Maria Carreggio, to the Mayor of Genoa Marco Doria, to the Mayor of Imperia Carlo Capacci, to the Commissioner of the Province of Genoa Piero Fossati, to the president of the Province of Imperia Luigi Sappa, to the president of the Chamber of Commerce of Genoa Paolo Odone, to the president of the Chamber of Commerce of Savona Luciano Pasquale and to the president of the Chamber of Commerce of Imperia Franco Amadeo.
