IMF: Greece is getting worse, here is the new 71 billion aid plan

The International Monetary Fund forecasts worse slowdowns for the Greek economy than those foreseen in previous estimates.
What will have to be the necessary intervention to support Greece has also been evaluated. According to the estimates of the IMF technicians, the European countries will have to allocate another 71 billion euros, of which 33 will probably come from private individuals, this is the amount of the new aid. The aid, claims the Washington institution, must be constant until 2014.

The economic downturn, which continues to plague the country, could be tougher than expected. This is what the inspectors of the International Monetary Fund estimate: this year the Greek GDP will mark a minus 3.9% and there will be a peak in public debt equal to 172% of GDP next year, an even more negative estimate of 159% of the previous projection carried out in March.
