In a space of 20.000 square meters in which the historic villa and the pavilions that once housed the province's orphanage, the vision of Alessandro Bulgini with Stefania Poddighe and Ginevra Pucci to create a challenge: to create a new habitat in Turin, a shared home of contemporary cultures, open to all.
Flashback Art Fair It's much more than an art fair, but it's also a meeting of people
This edition will welcome new European arrivals -, “natives” – the children born within these walls between 1953 and 1983 who have found and rediscovered themselves – or simple enthusiasts, the world of Flashback finds itself in a collective and shared ritual. Past, present and future, ancient, modern and contemporary are connected to each other thanks to the gazes of the people who observe them.
Flashback Art Fair, in 2024, titles its twelfth chapter “Equilibrium?”
A reflection on the idea of balance and whether it is always right and desirable, or whether it hides repression and inequality, social, economic, geopolitical. The 2024 edition explores this tension through important selected works accompanied by talks and meetings. Flashback Art Fair aims not to provide answers, but to open a space for dialogue, making visible the fragility of the very concept of balance.
