Tax authorities: 65 million euros seized from Marzotto and Donà dalle Rose families

The Guardia di Finanza of Milan is providing for the seizure of properties for a value of 65 million euros from the Marzotto and Donà dalle Rose families, as part of an investigation by the Milan prosecutor's office into the sale of Valentino Fashion Group in 2008 from the Icg to the fund Permira.

Vittorio, Matteo, Maria Rosaria, Cristiana and Margherita Marzotto, Andrea, Isabella and Rosanna Donà dalle Rose, Barth Zech, Pierre Cladmi, Ferdinando Businaro and Massimo Caputi are investigated. They are accused of having violated article 5 of law 74/2000, ie they would not have paid taxes in Italy on the capital gain realized from the sale of their shares in the fashion group to the Permira fund. On a capital gain calculated at 200 million euros, the tax evaded was calculated at 65 million, equal to what the men of the Fiamme Gialle are seizing in buildings.
