Tax, Pirelli admitted to the "collaborative regime"

Pirelli has been admitted together with the subsidiary Pirelli Tire Spa to the Collaborative Compliance regime envisaged by the Italian tax authorities. This is a new way of interacting with the Revenue Agency based on a transparency relationship that allows for an increase in the level of certainty on relevant tax issues.

The admission – reads a company press release – comes after the positive outcome of the assessment conducted by the Revenue Agency on the company's “Tax Control Framework”, the system for detecting, managing, controlling and mitigating tax risk.

Adherence to the regime is part of Pirelli's broader strategy aimed at preventive risk management and the promotion of a global "Tax Policy" focused on transparency with financial administrations around the world with benefits for all stakeholders.
