La moratorium in August for tax notices, announced in the spring, should become a reality with the decree the Local Societies, being examined by the House Budget Committee. The measure which, in the Government's intentions, should have been presented in the form of a legislative decree correcting the fiscal delegation, has so far remained in the drawer but should be recovered with the decree currently being converted.
The moratorium in question provides that whoever receives a communication of any kind from theInland Revenue between August 30st and 30th - including good-natured notices - he will have a XNUMX-day extension to respond, effectively postponing everything to the month of September, even if some deputies ask to extend the stoppage to some categories of payments as well. Among the other measures contained in this mini fiscal package there should also be one reopening of the terms for accessing debt installment plans with the tax authorities for those who have fallen.
