Taxman, here is the new pre-compiled 730

Tax at your fingertips. "Welcome Mario Rossi", this is how the Revenue Agency will welcome the taxpayer who will access, on the Internet, the pre-compiled 730 model. The innovation that will change the lives of 20 million Italians was approved last Thursday by the council of ministers and will take effect from June 2015. The government yesterday released a provisional copy and lots of information material for those wishing to familiarize themselves with the new way to pay taxes.

Starting from 15 April of each year, starting from the next and therefore with reference to 2014 income, the Revenue Agency will make the pre-compiled declaration available online. The taxpayer can accept it as it is or modify it, correcting the data communicated by the Agency and/or entering further information. Citizens will be able to access their declaration directly on the website of the Revenue Agency. Alternatively, he can delegate his own withholding agent (if he provides tax assistance), a tax assistance center or a qualified professional. In practice, those who don't feel like doing it themselves on the Internet can delegate their designated Caf or accountant.

In any case, having arrived on the home page of the pre-compiled 730, you will click on "view" to read the work done by the tax offices on the basis of the 730 presented in previous years. If there is no news, just click on "accept" and the work will be completed. Otherwise you will choose "integrate to 730" to add or modify the data.

When you click on "accept" the screen that opens (visible here in the attachment) invites you to choose the destination of the 8 and 5 per thousand. The final and liberating step is the definitive click on "send". If the government keeps its promises, the game will end with a few clicks and 5 screens: a Copernican revolution
