A meeting took place today between the general management of Equitalia Sud and Diego Armando Maradona's lawyer. "The appointment was requested by the lawyer of the former Argentine footballer - explains a note from the collection agency - to get information on the debt position of his client".
For its part, Equitalia Sud “reiterated that the collection activity adopted against Maradona was carried out in accordance with the provisions of the law and in compliance with the sentences issued by the competent judicial authorities. Furthermore, it was clarified again that the law allows Equitalia the possibility of repaying the debt in installments".
