FIRSTonline, over one million visits: in March the record of contacts and unique users

Long live the first million. The month of March will enter the young history of FIRSTonline, but we hope it will be just a new starting point for the more ambitious challenges and goals of our web journal.

For the first time since its inception, FIRSTonline exceeded one million visits in March 2015. This is the sum of the views achieved through direct contact with our site, through reading our services on the MSN portal, to which we have been providing economics and finance content since last autumn, and through social networks.

In particular, on FIRSTonline in March, based on Google Analytics data, 329.238 page views were recorded (271.500 in February) with 232.123 users, of which 190 unique users. On the Microsoft Italia platform (www.msn.it), the FIRSTonline services, present above all in the Money section, garnered 633 thousand visits, a sharp increase over February (562 thousand) and even more over January (381 thousand) and a total of 185.70 unique users.
Finally, on social networks and only on Facebook, visits to the FIRSTonline page were 247 in March (207 in February).

The sum of FIRSTonline views in March (including direct visits to the site, MSN and Facebook) brings the total number of contacts to one million and 169.888 units.

This success rewards the daily commitment of the entire FIRSTonline team and crowns its ambition to produce quality economic and financial information by openly abandoning the chorus of general conformism and placing all its cards on the independence, reliability and originality of the information offer. It took more than three years to exceed one million hits, but the result is the result of organic and therefore more solid growth, without the easy and somewhat fraudulent shortcuts of those who, even among the most popular sites, drugs their data by buying traffic outside.

The numbers do not tell everything and are not enough to testify to the effort to combine the timeliness and freshness of information every day with the reasoned hierarchization of the news and with the essential interpretation keys to achieve the goal, which is an identity trait of FIRSTonline, to offer readers the possibility of "knowing in order to understand". However, the growth of diffusion and public attention are very important indicators and a tangible sign of approval and affirmation.

A warm thank you is therefore as heartfelt as it is due and goes to the growing public of readers who have discovered and chosen the information from FIRSTonline and to whom the main credit for our success goes.
