Fiom: "Now a referendum among workers on yesterday's agreement between the unions and Confindustria"

The Fiom is not there. After the agreement signed yesterday between Confindustria, CGIL, CISL and UIL on contracts and trade union representation, the number one of the metalworkers' union Maurizio Landini thunders: "We do not agree and we ask that there be a statement from the workers or at least of subscribers. We will tell them that we do not like this agreement and should not be signed. "It is an agreement with which the CGIL withdraws its positions and gives in on non-transferable points - explains the general secretary of Fiom - for example, the workers' vote is missing to validate the agreements and opens up to the derogation of the national contract through company agreements not decided by the workers, but by the RSU and worse still by the RSA ».
The contract signed yesterday includes nine points, including new rules for union representation and guarantees of effectiveness for contractual agreements signed by the majority of workers' representatives.
